Guida FuoriSalone® 2013 Guida Zee Milan 2013The chance to discover the transformations and evolutions of design and decor, again this year, is offered by two important appointments: the FuoriSalone around the city, and the fair pavilions of Rho-Pero for iSaloni (9-14 April 2013). The exhibition spaces ‘invade’ the city, and as always the Guide provides an alphabetical listing of about 400 events, also organized Day by Day, and a thematic itinerary based on sectors.
One of the main events is undoubtedly the one in the courtyards of the State University of Milan, which again play host – under the aegis of INTERNI – to a major Exhibition-Event on the theme HYBRID ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN, focusing on the idea of métissage in architecture and design. This concept, seen as hybridization, is interpreted as an encounter of cultures and technologies. The approach to the theme is made by a group of internationally acclaimed architects and designers, whose work stands out for its content of research and innovation. They express their visions in an evocative, spectacular way, through installations, experimental micro-architectural pavilions or macro-objects, with the support of companies in the avant-garde in the fields of materials, technology and environmental sustainability.
