Guida FuoriSalone® 2013 Guida Zee Milan 2013Originating in 2004 from an idea of INTERNI with la Rinascente, the ZeeMilan guide, now in its ninth year, takes us to discover new itineraries with fashion spaces, design, shops, department stores, food, culture, architecture and historical buildings, split into the following areas: City Centre, North, East, South and West. ZeeMilano accompanies the FuoriSalone® Guide on the 400 design events scattered throughout the city, organized on the occasion of FuoriSalone (8-14 April 2013).
La Rinascente Milan, piazza Duomo, with its Design Supermarket (basement), a whole floor devoted to home accessories (6th floor) and its Food Market (7th floor) is a shopping establishment, one of the places for discovering a selection of new products and trends, with the addition this year of the Afrofuture event: stimulating futuristic visions of African creative minds, artists, designers, dreamers. Another appointment that cannot be missed is the great exhibition Hybrid Architecture & Design, an event organized by INTERNI in the courtyards of the Università Statale in Milan.
Fifteen installations, by well-known architects and designers, reflect on the idea of hybridization, which is here interpreted as the meeting point of cultures and technologies able to give answers to the problems and the wild cards of our contemporary world.
