Massimo Iosa Ghini graduated from Polytechnic Institute of Milan.
Today he is considered one of the best known Italian architects and designers on the international scene of project. Since 1985 he takes part in the avant-garde of Italian architecture and design: he founded the cultural movement Bolidism and joined the Memphis group of Ettore Sottsass.
In 1990 he opened the Iosa Ghini Associates, which operates in Milan, Bologna, Moscow and Miami, developing projects for main international groups and developers.
The company is specialized in the design of residential, commercial and museum spaces, areas and structures dedicated to public transport and in the design of retail chain stores.
Among the main projects, the developing of the worldwide chain of Ferrari Store and Kiko Store, IBM Software Executive Briefing Center (EBC) in Rome, the interiors and apartments, currently under construction, of Brickell Flatiron’s building in Miami.
Many design products are exhibited in several international museums and private collections, they received important awards and mentions including the Roscoe Award, USA, the Compasso D’Oro ADI, the Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum, the IAI Green Design Award, China, the iF Product Design Award and the Red Dot Award, Germany.
