Asinara is an exhibition by Marco Delogu organized by Fondazione di Sardegna in the context of the project AR/S Arte Condivisa in Sardegna and in collaboration with Parco Nazionale dell’Asinara.

An island that is part of an island, a land of vivid contrasts between a sublimely beautiful landscape and the cold presence of hospitals and prisons built during the last century, Asinara is the protagonist of the recent work by the photographer Marco Delogu: 25 works on view in the spaces of Fondazione di Sardegna.

The show is accompanied by a book combining the photographs by Delogu with texts by the writer Edoardo Albinati, winner of the Premio Strega 2016.

A teacher for over 20 years in the Rebibbia prison, Albinati – like Delogu – has experienced life on Asinara.
