Over 250 participants, 3 winners, 6 honorable mentions and 40 selected projects: these are the statistics of the competition entitled Designing new ways of working, the first step in the return of the historic Italian design trademark, which through this competition opens its doors to young creative talents, while updating its relationship with the designers of its past. Ergonomics, integration, sustainability and flexibility were the basic criteria of assessment for the jury, to judge original projects that approach the world of the office from the perspective of the Castelli philosophy. Workspace shifts from being formal and structured to being free and informal, favoring communication and responding to the needs of contemporary work. The jury – Giorgio Dino, Michele De Lucchi, Nicholas Bewick, Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi, Gilberto Dondè, Francesco Marcolin, Franco Mirenziand Mario Zoccatelli –  selected three winners: Filippo Mambretti for the Moi meeting chair, Studio Cibidi for Liquid Lounge, a modular seating system, and Tommaso Ceschi with Foglio, a recycled and recyclable aluminium table. The honorable mentions include different solutions, including operative furnishing systems, managerial tables, operative seating and waiting room chairs to favor both interaction and privacy.
