The event lights up the whole Danish capital with luminous installations and projections

Copenhagen, 1-24 February

Copenhagen Light Festival will light up the whole Danish capital with luminous installations and projections brightening the sky and the port, as well as simple, poetic lighting to enhance bridges and buildings. Throughout the festival a e danese con proiezioni e installazioni luminose, grandi e spettacolari, green laser beam created by Martin Ersted will cross the city, lighting the rooftops, together with 40 other luminous works contributed by international artists specialized in the design of lighting effects for theater, television, architecture and design.

One of the most spectacular installations is Eternal Sundown created by Mads Vega on Kalvebod Bølge.

There will be many happenings, appointments and guided tours: by bicycle, on foot or in kayaks, or an intriging tour on a boat along the canals. The installations can also be visited on one’s own thanks to a new app with an interactive map.
