The Italian Copper Institute has selected the winners of the competition for ideas and design of objects in copper and its alloys. Now at its fourth year, the competition “Copper and the Home” confirms its national and international success, with over 250 submitted projects sent by professionals and students from all over the world. The contest is for architects and designers up to 40 years of age, and students from schools of graphic design, furniture design and architecture. For the professional category first prize went to the French designer Francesco Morackinifor the project Prohibition Kit. Second prize was assigned to Stefania Ruggiero forPix. In the student category top honors were taken by Poland’s Michal Jan Holcer(Jan Matejco Academy of Fine Arts, Poland) with the project B-side. The Material Connexion space at the Milan Triennale will host, from 16 to 27 January, an exhibition of the projects selected by the jury composed of Luisa Bocchietto, Odoardo Fioravanti and Marco Romanelli
