LuisaViaRoma transforms the store in Florence into an idyllic Garden of Eden.
For the interior design, Sara Ricciardi has envisioned an ethereal setting with a dense, peaceful atmosphere, in a jubilee of feathers, palms, peacocks and lakes of turquoise water. The installation (until 8 May 2019) is a tribute to the capsule collection created by the fashion brand The Attico as an exclusive for LuisaViaRoma.
“A garden of pleasure, an Eden of the libido, with feathers, fringes and slow, erotic movement. As a tribute to the collection of The Attico with its attractive bird-women, LuisaViaRoma welcomes an intimate garden with warm, seductive, ironic overtones,” says Sara Ricciardi.
The interiors narrate a garden filled with machines in movement in brass and feathers, made by the company Mazzanti. A space with arches of aubergine-color tiles by Ceramica Bardelli, featuring Decogenius wallpaper with botanical patterns, sofas developed in collaboration with the Valencia-based company Houtique, and decorated with precious moiré fabrics by Antico Setificio Fiorentino.
The setting is completed by tables in scagliola by Bianco Bianchi, golden palms created exclusively for LuisaViaRoma by Duccio Conti Caponi, a chaise longue inspired by the 1920s by Jonathan Adler and ostrich-plume trees by the English company A Modern Grand Tour.
At the center stands a fountain made in collaboration with Marioni, with pink water. A symbol of life and fertility, it is a tribute to the Garden of Earthly Delights of Hieronymus Bosch.
