The biennial exhibition organized by the Bologna-based company underlines the link between the artistic spirit and the entrepreneurial spirit. Thirty artists – photographers, painters and sculptors – have concentrated on reinterpreting 106 “sweet” years of Italian history (Fabbri was founded in 1905). Their works will be on display starting on 28 Januaryat the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna, for the exhibition Un secolo e 6. Three works will receive the Fabbri Prize for Art: on photograph, one painting and one sculpture. The winners will be announced on Sunday 29 January in the dynamic context of ArteFiera. Curated by Alberto Agazzani, the show promises to be an evocative interpretation of Italian taste, referencing memories of bygone days with the folly of imagination, to give contemporary art a chance to dream again.
