Edition number 52 of the Salone Internazionale del Mobile is already announcing the first new developments, taking different stimuli from the industrial system into account. The project involves one of the most illustrious names in architecture, Jean Nouvel, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2008, and commissioned here to create a major project for iSaloni, interpreting the profound transformations in living space and work space in recent years. In a special area inside the pavilion set aside for the SaloneUfficio, the French architect will explore the present possibilities of construction through the liberating principles of rejection of cloned, closed and repetitive spaces, suggesting new formulae of aggregation to gain greater force on domestic and international markets. www.cosmit.it.
