As usual, our June issue is entirely devoted to the best of the recent FuoriSalone in Milan (starting from the 420 events mapped in our Guide). Together with a proven task force of photographers, we ventured everywhere design appeared in all its forms, to report on the great vitality and energy of this international contemporary phenomenon.

Inside palaces, courtyards, buildings, piazzas, museums, abandoned factories, galleries, showrooms and other locations, organized in zones or districtsDurini, San Babila, Quadrilatero, Magenta, 5vie, Porta Venezia, Porta Vittoria, Tortona, Ventura-Centrale, Bovisa, Triennale, Brera, Isola and Porta Nuova – selected as stages for a truly variegated, stimulating and multifaceted narrative, in terms of culture, trends, technological research, materials. To respond to the growing demand for improvement of our quality of life. Whether the focus is on the city or the individual dwelling, on the present or an ecosustainable, high-performance future.

In this context, the initiatives at the Orto Botanico, the Ca’ Granda-Università degli Studi of Milan, and the former Palazzo Arcivescovile at Corso Venezia 11 for the Audi City Lab, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Interni events, all rose to the occasion: spatial experiments and signature creations that attracted record numbers of visitors (about 385,000) from all over the world. Onward and upward!
