In the uncontaminated setting of Sardinia, in a hilly area immersed in greenery and facing the sea, the studio Franzina + Partners Architetturahas contextualized an original, innovative concept inspired by the rounded forms of the granite boulders scattered throughout the landscape. These forms lead to the idea of designing two large residential “boulders”, where the form blends with the natural surroundings and architecture becomes technological innovation. The orientation and positioning of the two units, on adjacent lots, guarantee privacy of the single residences while offering both a fine view of the sea.The Pebble Houses, perfectly equal, have two levels for a total of 209 sq meters of indoor space. The ground floor contains the kitchen, the living area and the closets, while the upper level is for three bedrooms: two singles and one double.
