The experience and innovation of Milan and its Salone del Mobile in Moscow

Salone del Mobile.Milano and SaloneSatellite are back in Moscow to consolidate a process of internationalization initiated a few years ago, in an important market.

The effort to transfer the experience and innovation of Milan and its Salone del Mobile to a capital like Moscow is also reflected in the new name: starting this year, the event is called Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow. To trigger an ongoing dialogue with its audience, the fair relies on the same advertising campaign used for Milan – Buon Design! – reproduced in Russia.

Over 280 exhibiting companies see this fair as a major opportunity for operation on the Russian market and that of the former Soviet nations, with their growing interest in high quality, classic style, design and luxury.

Over 30,000 visitors are expected – sector professionals, general public and press – who see this event as a unique display of quality furnishings, with a vast range of offerings, from upholstered furniture to lighting, kitchens, office furniture, complements, bath furnishings and textiles.

Salone del Mobile.Milano Moscow is organized in collaboration with ICE, the agency for foreign trade and internationalization of Italian companies, which brings a delegation of 140 buyers, dealers, distributors, architects and interior designers from Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Once again this year, a series of Master Classes has been organized, moderated by Olga Kosyreva, CEO and founder of Design Lectorium, with Ferruccio Laviani (10 October), Fabio Novembre (11 October) and Mario Bellini (12 October).

The Work Talk also returns, this year with Katerina Lashmanova, a successful young interior designer, who will talk about Russian contemporary design.
