Mobart Ben: unique quality as a distinctive trait, technology and material joined in harmony

The tradition of master craftsmen, the passion for wood and respect for nature are the common denominators of the creations of Mobart Ben, the company from Taibon Agordino (BL) specialized in the design and production of finishes and furnishings in wood, custom-made to measure.

One of the main materials is larch wood, a strong variety utilized since antiquity for the construction of houses and haylofts, and for the facings of interiors. These type of wood has a strong character, reflected in internal tensions that vary based on heat and humidity.

Solid wood has always been used for the production of the most elegant furniture, but in the case of larch wood there is no guarantee of stability over time. Mobart Ben, thanks to 50 years of experience in this sector, has developed a unique production process to offer products of the highest quality that last in time, with extraordinary aesthetic results.

The technique calls for the making of panels with segments (log sections of 5-7 mm) arranged in a continuous pattern to seem like true planks of solid wood, cut as in the past, and removes torsional stress to guarantee long-term stability.

The company pays close attention to environmental issues: vinyl glues are used for the assembly of the panels, and all the surfaces are treated with water-base resins and oils to nourish the wood into its depths, without releasing toxic fumes.
