A boutique hotel with just six completely personalized suites, narrating Italian art history

In Florence, in the striking medieval atmosphere of the San Niccolò zone, Fornace Suites is a new boutique hotel with just six suites that have been completely personalized to narrate the history of art in Italy.

The project created by the studio Archea Associati involved the renovation of a building from the early 1800s, on three levels, located at the bottom of the path that leads to Piazzale Michelangelo, as well as the interior design of the six suites and the wellness center on the basement level.

Donatello, Cellini, Bernini, Canova, Michelangelo, Ghiberti are the names of the six suites featuring contemporary design, carefully honed down to the smallest details. The custom furnishings vary from room to room, enhancing each suite with vivid contrasts or soft ton-sur-ton effects.
