In Turin, on Via Lagrange, an unusual residential project establishes a dialogue with between neoclassical forms and contemporary architecture. Lagrange12 stands at the heart of the shopping promenade of the city. Its transformation done by Gruppo Building converts a historic building from the 1600s between Via Lagrange and Via Giolitti.

Lagrange12 is based on the shared goals of the Building group and Pininfarina for the design of the apartments and communal spaces. The architects have worked on an area of 3500 m2, designing seven exclusive apartments, a large two-level store and two penthouses.

The complex is the home of Lagrange12, a luxury multibrand store with an area of about 1200 m2 organized on three levels with five entrances. Lagrange12, a space of G&B Negozio, the Brescia-based company founded in 1981 by Gianni Peroni, will become a reference point for fashion shopping in Turin.

Some of the most important fashion brands will be included with “shop-in-shop” facilities: Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Balmain, Bottega Veneta, Bulgari, Burberry, Celine, Chloé, Christian Dior, Homme, Fendi, Ferragamo, Givenchy, Loewe, René Caovilla, Saint Laurent, Stella McCartney, Thom Browne.

Lagrange12: fashion, but also art. In keeping with its focus on creativity and art patronage, Gruppo Building has commissioned the artist Richi Ferrero to make the sculpture Equinox, a lookout post over the city.
