Based on a project by the architecture and design firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the Nove office building has been made to become a milestone in the Arnulfpark area of Munich.
The 7300 m2 of the complex host a set of different works of contemporary architecture of very high quality, for use as residential, commercial and office facilities.
Completed in 2017, after just two years of construction, the building has 27,000 square meters of floorspace on six levels77777, for about 1300 workstations, a spacious lobby, as well as a nine-story tower with roof terraces offering a view of the Alps.
The facade stands out from a distance thanks to its gold-bronze aluminium frames that add depth, dynamism and an unusual three-dimensional effect.
The elegant, luminous interiors include large communal areas as well as the full-height glazed lobby, the fulcrum of the entire structure. The arrangement of the spaces encourages sharing, teamwork and relaxation, while the upper levels offer more secluded work areas. Internal courtyards, gardens and terraces add luminosity to the overall flexible environment.
The interior design features Vicenza stone from the Grassi Pietre quarries: about 4000 m2 of Pietra del Palladio, in Grigio Alpi version, form the large ventilated wall of the shared areas of the various floors of the building. With its contemporary materic impact, Vicenza stone has also been used in the multifunctional reception and meeting spaces, along corridors and to enhance the elevator zone.
Nove is a Green Building that has received LEED Platinum certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), as well as the European Property Award in the category Best Office Building Development.
