Un nuovo laboratorio contemporaneo a Torino, tra creatività e sperimentazione

A new contemporary laboratory in Turin, for creativity and experimentation

On 25 October, the opening of Spazio Lancia, an exhibition space that marks a new chapter in the history of Turin. It is located on the first floor of Palazzo Lancia, the headquarters of the automaker for many years, and a nerve center of the industrial fabric of the city, as well as a place of experimentation in the fields of mechanical engineering and design.

The space has been completely refurbished in architectural terms, while keeping faith with the design of the original structure. It sets out to reinterpret the role it has played in the past, with a look to the future: in fact, it will be utilized for exhibitions and new concepts in order to become a place of cultural debate, alternating the ideas of the new generations of artists with collaborations involving the leading cultural institutions of the city.

It will be possible for young artists to submit projects to be shown, but also to promote initiatives based on different languages, from design to music, performance to contemporary dance, all the way to fashion, food, workshops and new concepts.

The Spazio Lancia project has been created and supported by Bentley SOA under the direction of Tiziana Carpinello.
