Versace has opened a new boutique in Berlin, based on the concept created by Donatella Versace in collaboration with the English architect Jamie Fobert.

The store has an area of 350 m2, a skillful blend of opulence and Italian architectural tradition with the dynamism and energy of Versace today. Mosaics in marble, brass and perspex create a luxurious, contemporary setting for the prêt-à-porter Versace collections for women and men, and the accessories.

A place where past meets future, the boutique has mosaic floors inspired by the Byzantine churches of the 9th century, in contrast with the perspex walls and shelves that seem to float. The circular pattern of the floor mosaic echoes the shape of the walls. Brass is a protagonist of the metal parts, confirming the maximum luxury atmosphere of the boutique.

The new Versace concept is a tribute to the great cultural heritage of Italy. With this project, Jamie Fobert has created a space where the new Versace spirit is born.
