Vitra has won a lawsuit filed against the Milanese furniture store High-Tech.The court of Milan has decided that High-Tech should not sell copies of furnishings imported from China, involving about 20 pieces from the Vitra catalogue, including items designed by Eames, Nelson and Panton.The sentence indicates that the activity of High-Tech constitutes unfair competition, violating the copyrights of the Swiss company.This result sets an example in the area of protection of consumers regarding the authenticity of design products.
