1987, 30 years ago, Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina designed Tolomeo, an iconic and functional lamp that changed our way of thinking about light. Today it is a design symbol that has been interpreted over the years, using new and innovative technologies and light sources.

Architektursalon von Gerkan in Hamburg hosts an exhibition on Michele De Lucchi and his work with Artemide including a large area focused on Tolomeo.

From the first table version to the very recent Tolomeo Maxi floor lamp, the show features a wide range of variations presented by Artemide over the years.

A lamp that sums up three themes cherished by Artemide: technology, creativity, humanism.
