The architect Fabio Ferrillo of the studio OFF Arch has renovated the entrance hall of the production facility of the fashion brand MSGM
Data Pubblicazione: 28 December 2017

The complex that contains the headquarters of MSGM in Filottrano, in the province of Ancona, had been abandoned for many years, and had a technical ceiling dating back to the 1960s with a 3D diamond pattern.

The architect Fabio Ferrillo, founder of the studio OFF Arch, decided to conserve this existing feature, enhancing it in a contemporary way.

To emphasize the glossy, colorful surfaces of the interiors created by Giulio Minoletti in the 1950s, a system of panels in brass, black stone and green onyx has been created on the walls, softened by a warm rose color.

The entrance features a glass volume with a diamond form to contain a greenhouse. A restored divider partition in bronze-finish aluminium with mobile blades of different types of glass separates a meeting room featuring a large table in black glass and onyx.

The hall leads to the main staircase where a game of diagonals in white marble, black stone and glass generates an unusual, refined space.

Giant chimera

Data Pubblicazione: 19 December 2017

Ora Ito has designed the new offices of the media division of LVMH, containing Le Parisien and Les Echos in Paris. A very luminous pavilion on four levels, connected by a breathtaking staircase.

“I wanted the staircase to be the fulcrum of the building: a structure that ripples in space, shaping it, giving it character. A giant chimera, half whale, half serpent, that captures you, swallows you and spits you out on the right floor,” the designer says.

A parametric sculpture, captivating with its biomorphic structure, like a tornado that invades a peaceful work environment.

“The staircase goes beyond architecture. The offices are minimalist, functional, without decoration. The elegant details are discreet. The only surprise of high visual impact is this enormous body that rises through the building and lends itself to various functions: reception, divider partitions, dining hall, walls of the auditorium,” Ora Ito explains.

Ora Ito has also designed the community areas of the entire real estate project of 10 Grenelle, with an area of over 30,000 square meters.

The contract collections by Listone Giordano have been selected for two exclusive hotels: The Warehouse Hotel of Singapore and The Fontenay Hamburg in Germany
Data Pubblicazione: 18 December 2017

The high-end wooden surfaces of the contract system by Listone Giordano are based on a series of projects that generate special custom productions in close collaboration with leading international contractors and architecture firms.

The collections stand out for their proportions, thicknesses, finishes and surface treatments, types of wood and construction techniques, offering precise, high-quality solutions for a wide range of market segments. Specialized staff provide advanced consulting services for a qualified interface between the company and the world of design.

The latest creations include The Warehouse Hotel, a boutique hotel on the banks of the Singapore River. Built on the site of former industrial warehouses from the late 1800s, the hotel is the result of careful regeneration conducted by the architecture firm Asylum. The rooms are like urban lofts in which Listone Giordano surfaces are perfectly in line with the concept in terms of color, texture and image.

The Fontenay, on the shores of the Alster Lake in Hamburg, by the studio Störmer Murphy and Partners, stands out for its sculptural design based on the idea of three interlocking circles. The floors of the rooms and suites are made with Listone Giordano oak, in an exclusive geometric pattern.
