The studio Vudafieri Saverino Partners has designed the new Dry Milano: gourmet pizza, cocktails and interior design
Data Pubblicazione: 23 November 2017

For the second Milan venue of Dry Milano, the studio Vudafieri-Saverino Partners of Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino reinterprets the themes of hospitality in the food & beverage sector.

At the corner of Viale Vittorio Veneto and Via Manuzio, the project takes advantage of dual exposure and thirteen streetfront windows.

The central focus of the architecture is the relationship with people, eliminating barriers between guests and staff. The result is an unconventional layout.

Dry Milano is a pizzeria in which the classic aesthetic codes are reversed: the oven is concealed, and the monitors show art videos instead of sporting events.

The materials have been applied in an unusual way, with flooring tiles used on the surface of the tables, in three shades, inside borders of rugged brass.

Brass is used in most of the furnishings, including the lamps.

In the kitchen, the chef Andrea Berton focuses on the theme of “different” food, in an evolution of the winning formula of the first Dry Milano.

The exclusive new showroom of Elite Stone and the Calacatta Borghini marble quarry
Data Pubblicazione: 23 November 2017

A showcase of luxury design: Elite Stone and the Calacatta Borghini marble quarry have opened the exclusive ES Gallery in London at Margaret Street 74, Fitzrovia.

The project brings together a luxury producer with a quarry of the finest marble, generating an evocative location where marble becomes a new language with which to speak of elegance and ultrachic lifestyle.

The protagonist of ES Gallery is the Coral Black area, a refined interpretation of the living room. A genuine work of art, in a perfect combination of captivating looks and functional quality.

Elite Stone also presents furnishings with lighting in the new showroom. The firm has patented the innovative, sophisticated E-light System, the result of over 10 years of research that takes concrete form in the bonding of thin layered panels of marble and onyx with the transparency of glass and the luminosity of LEDs.

Furnishings, kitchens, doors, paneling and doors can thus be enhanced by the harmony of backlit lightened marble, creating an enveloping, striking atmosphere.
