Luxury Living Group in Miami

A new location for the showroom of the Italian group

Luxury Living Group expands its operations in the United States by opening its largest directly managed store.

The group helmed by Alberto Vignatelli has chosen the Design District in Miami, at 50 NE 39th Street, for the relocation of the showroom.

 

The new facility has an area of about 3000 m2 and presents all the collections of the group while containing the headquarters of the affiliate Luxury Living USA.

The building designed by the architect Michael Maltzan features harmonious curved lines on the exterior, emphasized by the optical white of the surfaces and the large perimeter windows.

 

The project is organized on three display levels connected by a sculptural elliptical staircase.

The interiors designed by the group’s in-house team of architects are enhanced by walls in various types of wood and fine materials as a tribute to the Italian tradition.

Backlit panels create the welcoming atmosphere of a contemporary residence, while divider elements like bookcases and partitions accentuate the intimacy of spaces through metal finishes and transparent effects.

The collections are shown brand by brand, in settings that bring out the particular style of each line.

 

Created for interaction with architects, interior decorators, designers and private clients, the showroom offers a complete overview of the products of Luxury Living Group, while providing excellent services of design and assistance.

There is also a division for the contract sector, with a highly specialized team capable of producing projects from start to finish.

Motivi in Milan

Identity, brand recognition and functional quality are the distinctive traits of the new store concept of Motivi, created by the studio BBMDS in terms of concept and interior design.

A project of diffused and detailed restyling that starts in Italy with the reopening of the very central flagship store at Corso Vittorio Emanuele 8/10 in Milan, and will involve about 100 stores of the chain.

In an area of 220 square meters, the spaces of the store have a new look to aptly interpret the codes and values of the brand, encouraging clients to indulge in an immersive shopping experience.

Apple Michigan Avenue in Chicago

The first store of a new generation of retail locations, in an area that connects the city to the river that crosses it

Apple Michigan Avenue is the latest and most ambitious store ever, conceived as a gathering place for the local community. The store will host Today at Apple sessions throughout the year, in tune with the desire of the municipality to revitalize the riverfront.

 

Chicago is deeply connected to the river that crosses the city, and the store adds a new riverfront access from Pioneer Plaza.

The river and the city are now linked by two granite staircases on both sides of the transparent store, providing an unimpeded view across the plaza.

Apple has worked with the municipal government of Chicago and conducted research on historical documents to create a project in perfect tune with its surroundings.

 

Apple Michigan Avenue, designed by Foster and Partners​, breaks down indoor-outdoor boundaries, generating important urban connections.

 

Every detail has been studied to reduce the factors that separate the city from the Chicago River.

The building’s carbon fiber roof, measuring about 33.8 x 29.8 meters, has been designed to be as thin as possible, and the entire structure rests on four internal pillars that do not obstruct the view from the impressive 9.7-meter glass facade.

The flagship store of the Italian company in London doubles its display area and presents a setting designed to contextualize and enhance the new Mood collection designed by Roberto Lazzeroni

The Flexform Chelsea Harbour showroom in London expands, with a new setting created to bring out the intimate, refined atmosphere of the Mood collection.

In warm, sophisticated spaces featuring precious materials, iridescent fabrics and soft forms, the products display their balance of Deco and retro tastes, conserving the allure of a ‘collection of memory’ revised for a contemporary context.

 

The interior design – by Design Center Flexform – interprets the image created by the architect Antonio Citterio for the company’s space at the Salone del Mobile, while for the space set aside for the Mood collection motifs have been applied from the decor developed by the art director Stefano Gaggero.

Sofas, armchairs, tables, chairs, beds and complements from the Mood 2017 collection have been designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, who has been working with the firm for ten years now.
