‘Presence’ in the heart of Copenhagen

An intimate wine bar/restaurant in industrial style
Data Pubblicazione: 2 January 2018

The exclusive Danish venue with the name Nærvær, which means presence, stands out for its informal, warm and welcoming atmosphere.

With just 10 seats, this wine bar and restaurant is located in a building facing a canal, with a fine view of the historical center of Copenhagen.

Surfaces in fair-face concrete and ventilation conduits hanging from the ceiling are the factors of a decidedly industrial style.

To create a hygge atmosphere, the studio Norm Architects, responsible for the interior design, has chosen a range of dark, warm colors combined with soft lighting.

The natural materials like wood, stone and metal have been modified to create industrial surfaces that reflect the spirit of the place.

The decorative cement-based flooring made with Nuvolato Architop by Ideal Work contributes to the warm yet industrial image.

The pasta startup

The second location in Milan for Miscusi, on Piazza San Camillo De Lellis

The design of the restaurant and pasta shop is again by Gruppo C14
Data Pubblicazione: 2 January 2018

At the new Miscusi, designed by Gruppo C14, pasta is still the protagonist.

Two metal signs indicate the spaces set aside for the kitchen and the workshop.

The walnut counter has a marble top. The lighting system is built into a pattern of tubing on the ceiling, set into the warm tones of salvaged exposed brick and the intense green hue of the walls.

The floors alternate different materials, including resin with metal inserts and blanched oak to evoke the tradition of pasta workshops.

A large table in natural walnut, a water station with a marble sink, green shelving and painstaking attention to detail are some of the other ingredients of this new venue.
