Stone Italiana opens a new showroom in the central design district of San Babila-Via Durini in Milan. The new space at Via Visconti di Modrone 27 features the company’s latest creations together with the iconic collections, and becomes a meeting place for architects, designers and interior design enthusiasts.

The space is organized around three areas: a central zone where a table-cabinet covered with a dramatic surface in Craken Craquelé contains practical sliding drawers containing the entire range of collections of the Verona-based company, and a corner with limited editions and one-offs.

The walls and floors present what seem like paintings of quartz: a display of great impact to convey a sense of the chromatic variety, nuances and energy of the different structures of the surfaces.

At the entrance and in a later space, full-height sliding panels present the different finishes and characteristics of the slabs – shiny, matte, rugged.

Prospettiva Stone is the new concept, starting with the visions of 5 designers invited by Lorenzo Palmeri to interpret the expressive potential of recomposited quartz slabs.

Giulio Iacchetti, Arseny Leonovich, Matteo Ragni, Elena Salmistraro, Paolo Ulian – together with Palmeri himself – have thought about a single theme: the creation of a coffee table, using different materials and design approaches. The result is a symbolic capsule collection that embodies all the versatility of Stone Italiana.
