The Triennale Design Museum and Sim-patia, the center for the disabled located at Valmorea (Como), present a solidarity project. The starting point is represented by 50 red wooden chairs, originally used for an installation by the Swiss artist Daniel Bersete and then donated to Sim-patia for this benefit project. The chairs have been transformed, dismantled, painted and reworked by artists, designers and personalities of the world of fashion and business to produce new, original creations. The auction of the chairs, done by Anna Gastel, a consultant at Christie’s, takes place on 10 November in Como.
