For the centennial of the Trussardi Group, Fondazione Nicola Trussardi presents an exhibition curated by Massimiliano Gioni, produced in collaboration with Fondazione Pitti Discovery. The first major group show organized by the Foundation, 8½ combines, in the monumental spaces of Stazione Leopolda, the works of thirteen international artists featured, from 2003 to the present, in the solo shows produced by Fondazione Nicola Trussardi in Milan, including some spectacular public art projects. The show also features the Italian debut of a new work by Maurizio Cattelan. Like a carnival parade, 8½ presents – for the first time together in a group show – works by Darren Almond, Pawel Althamer, John Bock, Maurizio Cattelan, Martin Creed, Tacita Dean, Michael Elmgreen & Ingar Dragset, Urs Fischer, Peter Fischli & David Weiss, Paul McCarthy, Paola Pivi, Anri Sala and Tino Sehgal, artists who have emerged, over the last decade, as some of the most interesting and significant figures on the international scene. www.fondazionenicolatrussardi.com.
