Working since 2010 on the exploration of the project portfolio of the master Angelo Mangiarotti with the Mangiarotti Collection, Agapecasais one of the partners of the exhibition “Achille Castiglioni e Angelo Mangiarotti a confronto” organized for Mantova Creativa, from 30 May to 2 June, in the evocative space of the Tempio di San Sebastiano, a work by Leon Battista Alberti.
A tribute to one of the most innovative Italian designers and, in particular, to the contribution he made to the transformation of the design of objects for food and dining. The show features products made in collaboration with leading furniture companies, items that have written the history of design Made in Italy, from the postwar era to the present.
The event has been done in collaboration with the Foundations of Achille Castiglioni and Angelo Mangiarotti.
The show is accompanied, on Saturday 30 May at 11.00, by an encounter “A tavola con Angelo e Achille”: a dialogue between the designs for the table by Mangiarotti and Castiglioni. The panel includes Giovanna Castiglioni, daughter of Achille and vice-president of Fondazione Achille Castiglioni, Ali Filippini, journalist and professor of History and Criticism of Design, and Giampaolo Benedini, president of Mantova Creativa and art director of Agapecasa.
