Fondazione Mudina hosts a photographic exhibition by Matteo Guzzini, curated by Moreno Gentili, that investigates the life and customs of the Samburu, one of the last great semi-nomadic African tribes of central-northern Kenya. Through a selection from the thousands of pictures taken in Kenya by Matteo Guzzini, the project, published by Skira Edizioni, presents an original path in multiple stages that evokes, without falling into traps of folklore or exoticism typical of the occidental gaze, a very ancient anthropological fabric made of traditions and knowledge intertwined with practical life. The photographs explore the eating habits and nomadic character of the Samburu people. www.mudima.net.
