In fact, the competition proposes to make artisans avant-garde figures also in terms of communication and therefore also reachable online, or more specifically on social networks - approaching new catchment areas, overcoming the boundary between physical and virtual and therefore also involving potential customers from the online landscape.

"Territorial traditions" is the fil rouge and the main theme of this edition, which features the shops whose activity is based on a specificity and a profession closely linked to the territory from which they come or in which they operate.

The Artigiano del Cuore Competition is an initiative of Wellmade - the community of lovers of "well done", promoted by the Cologni Foundation of Art Professions in collaboration with Fatti ad Arte.

It is a format that continues from year to year and was born in 2018 to enhance the high Italian artistic craftsmanship and recognize the merits of some extraordinary masters.

Among the winners of the previous editions were the shoemakers Sandro Barbera & Figli and the mosaicist Fabrizio Travisanutto in 2018; the restorers Bruna Mariani, Carlotta Corduas and Serena Dominijanni in 2019; the luthier Stefano Bertoli in 2020; the potter Victor Fotso Nyie in 2021.

The prize up for grabs includes a package of communication services worth € 3,000, funded by the Cologni Foundation and held by the partner agency TA-DAAN, which specializes precisely in the sector " crafts ". The winner will also be able to exhibit for free at the "Fatti ad Arte" event in October.

The 5th edition will therefore start starting from May 5, 2022, with the opening of applications that can be submitted directly on the official website of the competition until June 6, 2022, by filling out the application form.

During the two weeks following June 6, then, the finalists will be identified and from June 22 their respective profiles will be published on the competition website, so that the public can vote for their "Artigiano del Cuore".
