Yesterday, on 12 April 2017, the first official lunch took place in the Food Village of Amatrice, the initiative now in progress, based on a project by Stefano Boeri, thanks to funds raised by Un aiuto subito. Terremoto Centro Italia 6.0 of Corriere della Sera and TgLa7 together with TIM.
An important moment of the phase of construction of a new economic center of Amatrice, yesterday’s lunch including the consignment to the Mayor Sergio Pirozzi of the first completed space, set aside for the dining hall of the adjacent multifunctional education center.
A fundraising lunch also open to the local inhabitants, a good omen for the soon to be opened food village, as well as a way of thanking all the companies and entrepreneurs who have already contributed and will contribute to the definitive launch of the facility with their products.
There were also representatives of Asso Group, Gerflor, Lualdi and Oikos, which have decided to concretely finance part of the reconstruction through sponsorship programs on multiple levels.
