Andrea Branzi returns to Galleria Antonia Jannone in Milan with Altri Luoghi, an exhibition of a series of original sculptures and works on paper.

 

Branzi’s sculptures are protected by vitrines and move as if inside their own sets, transforming the spaces into secret micro-environments to observe and analyze in detail.

Made in glass, plexiglas and clay, from 2015 to 2016, the depict small fighters, dancers, different iconographic inspirations.

 

The show also includes drawings in pencil and markers on paper, from the Dolmen series, and photomontages on the bicentennial of the French Revolution.
