The fifth edition of the urban-cultural project created by Lungarno Collection with an itinerary that connects the interior and the outer facade of Gallery Hotel Art to the entire surrounding area: sixteen of the most iconic works by Andy Warhol in contrast with a row of Vespas, reinterpreted by the Italian artist Simone D’Auria.
The exhibition Andy Warhol Forever presents sixteen of the artist’s most famous pieces, from Fondazione Rosini Gutman.
The Pop accent is shared by the installation Freedom created by Simone D’Auria.
D’Auria has chosen the Vespa, a universal icon of Made in Italy, as an extraordinary tool of communication, clad for the occasion in images representing different corners of our planet.
The initiative supported by the City of Florence and Gruppo Piaggio presents a series of 12 Vespas attached to the facade of the hotel.
