With more than 1,500 exhibitors each year, the event showcases a rich overview of recent innovations in stone products and machinery for the processing and care of marble and granite. At Verona Fiere from 24 to 27 September

The reference exhibition for the marble and natural stone industry, Marmomac returns to Veronafiere 24-27 September. The 2024 edition aims to consolidate its role as a platform for business, training and culture for all operators in the international techno-stone supply chain: the event is in fact a reference hub at world level, with 66% of visitors attending last year from abroad representing 138 nations. A unique showcase for a 360-degree overview of the latest innovations, both in terms of stone products and machinery for the processing and care of marble and granite.

Marmomac promotes the innovative use of natural stone

"In the contemporary context," emphasises Veronafiere Sales Director Raul Barbieri, "natural stone continues to be a prestigious and versatile material, capable of emphasising the value of every project with its beauty and unique properties. Marmomac plays an important role in promoting the innovative use of this material, highlighting its most avant-garde applications through a series of side events, including exhibitions, workshops and conferences".

A Matter of Stone

A Matter of Stone returns to Hall 1, curated by Elle Decor Italia with a layout signed by the Calvi Brambilla studio, a selection of companies exhibiting design productions and applications in a creative context intended for architects, interior designers and sector professionals.

The Plus Theatre

Marmomac Hall 10 hosts The Plus Theatre curated by Giorgio Canale and reconfirms itself as the heart of experimentation dedicated to natural stone. The theme of this edition, the material protagonist of a real district developed around a central avenue overlooked by exhibitions and meeting areas. In addition to curating the entire pavilion, Giorgio Canale conceived the Walk of Stone exhibition, a tribute to Hollywood's Walk of Fame: a 300 square metre catwalk allows Italian and foreign companies to display and highlight their creations.

Full/Empty and Journey to the Centre of the Table

Curated by Raffaello Galiotto, Full/Empty involves designers and companies in exploring the relationship between full and empty through marble works created in the age of new digital tools. Also curated by Raffaello Galiotto, Journey to the Centre of the Table brings together at Marmomac previously unseen works by the artist and designer, presenting itself as a colourful composition of stone tables formed by a slab top and a centrepiece processed with the most advanced numerical control machines.

The Applaud and Marmomac meets Academies

After the success of the last edition, The Applaud returns, curated by Danilo Di Michele to promote stone culture by highlighting the properties of natural stone. The protagonist of the installation is Il Fazzoletto, one of the first works designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini. As part of Marmomac meets Academies, Giuseppe Fallacara curates Ceci n'est pas un fossile, a project through which students from Italian and foreign universities analyse the theme of stone design in the future, focusing on the relationship between knowledge and know-how, theory and practice, craftsmanship and technology.

Architectural Modules and Best Communicator Award

ADI Delegation Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige plumbs the design world through the Architectural Modules exhibition, while the Best Communicator Award returns, an award dedicated to exhibit design now in its sixteenth edition to celebrate companies capable of representing themselves with the most original and incisive concept.
