Fantastic forms, lively colors, games of reflections. These are the features of the magical creations of Marillina Fortuna, on view in Rome in the spaces of Corso440.

The exhibition Air, Water, Earth, Fire! Works by Marillina Fortuna curated by Eleonora De Filippis presents the latest creations of the artist from Vicenza residing in Milan, as well as a large site-specific light installation.

Over 30 works of various sizes made from 2010 to 2016, using the technique of assemblage. Fragments of everyday useful objects found on the beach are selected and put together by the artist without any alteration or manipulation.

Colors, materials, highlights that catch the artist’s eye, combined in a playful, ironic way, an attitude also reflected in the titles of the works.
