The international jury of experts and renowned designers has selected Arper for the category press-corporate communications. The corporate identity project – created by the studio 2×4 of New York in collaboration with the Spanish studio Lievore Altherr Molina and the Arper in-house team – has involved the development and evolution of printed and digital communications, including some unprecedented approaches. The designers identified the key values of Arper products – harmony, synthesis, formal rigor, color sense, respect for the environment – and the information needs of the various target audiences. The new integrated corporate communication system expresses these concepts through a pure, elegant graphic language that conveys a coherent, inspired message. The photographic project by Scheltens & Abbenes. Effectively sums up, with abstraction and pragmatism, imagery that can intuitively express the aesthetic and functional characteristics of each collection. The new corporate identity will be part of a traveling exhibition that will open in the cities of Hannover and Hamburg in February 2012 at the iF Design Exhibition, and will later visit China, in Haikou, in a multimedia version. The project will also be inserted in the iF Online Exhibition.
