Tangram, a 12-meter table based on the game of the same name, which provides just 7 forms (1 square, 1 parallelogram and 5 triangles) that can be combined to make infinite forms and structures. A table like a patchwork that combines different types of inlaid wood to underscore the excellence of lace made in Como, under the symbolic transparency of a plexiglas top that features designer tableware, including glasses and pitchers wrapped in precious silk, transforming them into refined presences. Wooden utensils are “dressed” to simulate guests at an elegant meal, sitting on chairs transformed into garments that make reference to major international capitals. This Imaginary Tableis the project created by 24 young students from art and design schools in the provinces of Como, Lecco and Varese, who like true brand managers have guided the development of individual compositional elements, generating a refined artwork that will be unveiled during the Creativity Week held in Como from 12 to 22 October. The installation will remain open to the public at Spazio Culturale Antonio Ratti, in the former church of San Francesco.
