The Triennale hosts an exhibition on excellence Made in Italy. An event that includes the active participation of Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imolawhich has made a special work for the occasion. It is a portion of floor-sculpture based on an original drawing by Gio Ponti, thanks to which once again we can appreciate the creative genius of this great Italian master, famous all over the world for his versatility and his vision of material and space. The floor-sculpture has been entirely made by hand by the craftswomen of the artistic division of Imolarte: six persons who worked for about two months exclusively on this impressive project. A total of 1778 unique pieces were made to cover a surface of about 60 sq meters, faithfully reproducing Gio Ponti’s design with its geometries and colors (12, from yellow to green to blue).
