Atom: The Cutting Factory is an exhibition on design, technology and innovation created to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Atom, the Italian company of reference for cutting systems of flexible and semi-rigid materials.
The show is curated by Giulio Iacchetti and Francesca Molteni, with exhibit design by Matteo Ragni and graphics by Leonardo Sonnoli.
The installation brings out the versatility of Atom technologies, interpreted by the creativity of 12 designers (4P1B design studio, Federico Angi, Alessandra Baldereschi, Denise Bonapace, Agustina Bottoni, Giulio Iacchetti, Joe Velluto, Lanzavecchia + Wai, Chiara Moreschi, Lorenzo Palmeri, Studio Sovrappensiero and Martinelli Venezia Studio) who have produced original works using 12 different materials, including wool felt, cardboard, rubber, leather, cowhide and plastic laminate.
