The Triennale Design Museum presents a selection of works in metal by Federico Angi, Carlo Contin, Dunja Weber and the studio 4P1B, developed and produced during a workshop coordinated by Giulio Iacchettiin media partnership with the magazine IQD, for the company Sampietro 1927. The idea behind the project is to narrate the story of the working of metals and the skills required to make metal creations, which demand a high level of expertise, precision and professionalism, now reinterpreted in a contemporary way. The workshop stood out for constant contact between the company, the coordinator and the individual designers, to perfect design solutions based on experience and knowledge. The result was a stimulating dialogue between tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and design. The exhibitions of the Triennale DesignCafé are a project curated by Silvana Annicchiarico, director of the museum. www.triennale.it.
