Welldom of Giovanni Fabris, a philosopher of the concept of ideal living, has supervised the construction, engineering and the study of materials, with a tailor-made holistic approach that makes BioCasa_82 achieve unprecedented levels of wellbeing and sustainability. With 117 points out of a maximum of 136, with respect to the American protocol LEED Platinum, and 10 out of 11 for the parameter on innovation in design & engineering, the project has the highest values in Europe precisely for the design aspects that stand out for their characteristics of innovation and application of practices of sustainability and comfort in the construction of buildings. Exclusively certified ecological materials have been used, all recyclable and obtained locally whenever possible: solid wood with PEFC or FSC certification, plaster with natural silicates, stone flooring in Zovonite trachyte from the Zovon quarries of Padua, concrete from Bigolino of Valdobbiadene.
