Cersaie, the International Fair of Ceramics for Architecture and Bath Furnishings, is back at the Bologna fair, from 28 September to 2 October.
The six exhibition sectors will welcome, for the 33rd edition, 872 exhibitors from 39 nations (319 from abroad). The biggest segment is that of ceramic tiles (491 companies, 236 foreign), followed by bath furnishings (226 exhibitors).
There are many events, exhibitions, and conferences. The high point is on Tuesday 29 September, at Palazzo dei Congressi (11.00), with a lecture by the architect Glenn Murcutt (winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2002).
A grand tour of revitalization in typical Italian places is offered by Cer.Stile – Italian Style Concept. At Pavilion 30, the show illustrates new concepts of livability and regeneration: mountains, seaside, chalets, beaches, reinterpreted through renovation projects that become active factors for the promotion of innovative lifestyles and uses, reinventing residential, commercial and functional potentialities.
