Many encounters are planned in the program Costruire, Abitare, Pensare: it opens on 27 September with a lecture by Norman Foster, introduced by the architecture historian Francesco Dal Co, at 11.00 in the Palazzo dei Congressi.
At the Galleria dell’Architettura, Solano Benítez (Leone d’Oro at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016) will speak on 28 September at 17.00, as well as the Portuguese architect Manuel Aires Mateus that same day, at 10.00, and the Irish architect Shelley McNamara (co-founder of Grafton Architects) on 29 September at 17.00. On 30 September there will be a lecture by Ugo La Pietra at 10.00 at Palazzo dei Congressi.
Visitors should not miss the appointments at the Interni Cafe (Pav. 21 – stand B77) which will host conversations with Matteo Ragni, designer, and Paolo Cesana, marketing director of Ceramiche Refin (26 September – 14.30), Diego Grandi, designer, and Emilio Mussini, President of the Commission of Promotional Activities of Confindustria Ceramica (27 September – 10.00), Giulio Iacchetti, designer, and Alberto Cristina, CEO of Cristina Rubinetterie (27 September – 15.30).
