Cersaie, the largest and most qualified international event for the sectors of ceramics and bath furnishings, remains a worldwide reference point of international trade to learn about aesthetic, typological and technological trends.
For the first time in the history of Cersaie, the well-known designer Giulio Iacchetti has designed the installations of the bath furnishings pavilions during this 35th edition. The goal is to add forceful character to these spaces, with clean, elegant horizontal and vertical graphics: the routes feature special carpeting and the walls display captivating, glamorous motifs.
The cultural program “building, dwelling, thinking” is back, offering visitors a fine calendar of happenings during the 5 days of the fair, featuring acclaimed architects and designer from all over the world: Elisa Valero Ramos, Sebastian Irarrázaval and Francis Kéré.
Light will be the protagonist of the 4th edition of the group show of Cersaie, Milleluci – Italian Style Concept, curated by Angelo Dall’Aglio and Davide Vercelli, drawing inspiration from the televised variety show hosted by Mina and Raffaella Carrà in 1974: an evocative voyage of luminous atmospheres that enhance materials, surfaces and the design of bath furnishing products, with classic forms and different styles.
Tuesday 26 September at 12.00, for the Cafe della Stampa, a conversation is programmed on Creative collisions – where does inspiration come from? at the Interni Cafe http://www.internimagazine.com/news-en/agenda-en-483/collisionicreative-cersaie-internicafe/
Bologna Design Week (for which Interni is the media partner) and Cersaie have reinforced their collaboration in the name of design. BDW 2017 (from 26 to 30 September), in tune with the idea that design creates trends, forecasting the “habits and customs” of the future, offers thematic itineraries of design, fashion and food in the city.
