A retrospective on 33 years (1983-2016) of work, and a tribute to the youthful vitality of the design thinking of Ricardo Ignacio Salas Moreno, director (since 2004) of the Escuela de Diseño de la Universidad Añahuac of Mexico City. A selection of about 850 publications (books, art and corporate catalogues, coordinated image projects, magazines).

“I am honored by this tribute,” said Ricardo Salas, who trained in Milan at the Scuola Politecnica di Design and then in Switzerland at the Kunstgewerbeschule of Basel, “because it means that the approach I have exported into Latin American culture can still be seen as a valid reference in terms of the quality of narrative design.”

Marisela Morales Ibáñez, consul of Mexico in Milan, at the opening of the show on 16 January, remarked: “In the parallel between history and the contemporary, the research of Ricardo Salas Moreno brings vitality and engagement to visual communication and to the spread of Mexican culture.”
