The Italian Copper Institute has selected the winners in the third edition of the competition based on the need to narrate this noble, historic material in an innovative, unconventional way. The jury, composed of Antonia Astori, Giulio Iacchetti and Marco Romanelli, selected the winners from a total of 300 projects. For the professional category, first prize went to Emanuele Magini for the project ‘Willy’. Second prize was assigned to Ernesto Messineo for “Follow your passion”. Honorable mentions went to the duo Patrizio Cardella and Marcella Toninello with “Copper Foam Vases” and to Andrea Loreta with “Turn”. For the student category, first prize was won by Anaick Lejart (ENSAAMA, École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Metiers d’Art, Paris) for the project “4.5 mm”. Honorable mentions were for Adrien Goubet (ENSCI, École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle, Paris) for “Copper bells”, “Fago” by Manon Leblanc and “Light up your brain” by Ji Yeon Yoo, both from the École supérieure des arts décoratifs, Strasburg Cedex, France and, finally, Camille Philippon (ENSAAMA, École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Metiers d’Art, Paris) for “Elica radiator”.
