The fourth edition of the competition has come to a conclusion, with winners announced during the FuoriSalone at Superstudiopiù – Temporary Musem for New Design. This year’s partner was Poliform. The Cristalplant Design Contest 2012, for young creative talents born after 01/01/1972, had two categories: tables and furnishing complements. The 2860 submitted projects were analyzed and evaluated by a jury of managers and R&D directors of Poliform and Cristalplant, Livia Peraldo, Arianna Malagoli, Paolo Piva, Riccardo Blumer and Chicco Bestetti. The jury selected two winners: Charlie, for the furnishing complements category, and Verve for the category of tables, and assigned four special mentions. Charlie, designed by Kensaku Oshiro, is a table ‘made of ribbing’, moulded in a single piece. The Verve table, designed by Busetti Manuela, Garuti Andrea and Redaelli Matteo, is composed of two legs in Cristalplant with a top in wood, marble or Cristalplant.
