In the Valcucine Milano Brera space (corso Garibaldi 99), an exceptional auctioneer, Filippo Solibello of Radio2, will offer design sketches and special works by some of the biggest names on the Italian design scene, as well as a series of special pieces by the most famous Italian design brands. Proceeds will be donated to help people impacted by the earthquake a few months ago in Emilia Romagna. The designers include Aldo Cibic, Lorenzo Damiani, Carlotta De Bevilacqua, Rodolfo Dordoni, Davide Groppi, Giulio Iacchetti, James Irvine, Kengo Kuma, King & Miranda, Ugo La Pietra, Alberto Meda, Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Mtteo Ragni, Denis Santachiara. An initiative organized by Demode, Iride Fixed Modena and Brera Design District, joining forces to encourage people from Milan and elsewhere to take part in an evening for the Emilia region. The donations will all go to the Associazione servizi per il volontario Modena. A team of cyclists, headed by Iride Fixed Modena, will ride the Modena-Milan route, round trip, in 24 hours to accept and deliver the check with the funds gathered for the association of volunteers. www.volontariamo.it.
