The summer academy of design and architecture located in southwestern France, between Limoges and Poitiers, directed by Alexander Von Vegesack, co-founder of the Vitra Design Museum in Germany, has organized since 1995 workshops with designer, architects and artists from all over the world, attracting about 450 students of different nationalities every summer. The old country estate is also the location of art and design exhibitions, and contains an architecture park.
